Magnum's TE just decided to walk out a yard short of the marker setting up 4th and 2. He must have thought he had the first down for some reason.

so how do you record the stats for a guy who played BOTH sides in a game?

So what were your thoughts of him? I was impressed with his arm, and he seemed to be able to move out of the pocket when needed. Was very impressed that he switched teams at half time, I wonder if it was his decision/offer, or if he was asked to. That has to be tough to switch at half time to a team you have never played/practiced with, a playbook that you haven't seen, and go up against a defense that you faced all week.

Both.

I can't imagine Jake switching sides to be a team player. He can switch sides, but not for the good of the team.

Can someone spell out what happened with more context and a lot more detail. All I could pick up is that he threw a couple of PICs while playing for offense on both teams but somehow looked like Heisman material unless that was TIC even though his receiver waltzed out of bounds, when he did not need to and caused 4th and 2.

He looked very good in terms of mechanics. Throws a pretty ball. He had one throw at the end of the first half that was about a 40 yard throw that was right on the money and would have been a td but his receiver couldn't hold on. He switched sides because the other team's qbs kept getting injured. The Heisman comment was tic. But he looked solid. I didn't watch the second half. He only had 2 series in the first half. Sno, sorry about the 4th and 2. I thought it was a yard short and then the TV crew decided it was 2 yards and I was typing too fast to correct it. In any case he should have fot the first down.

Assuming Magnum is code name for Mangum, gum has already moved past Jake Heaps by doing what Jake could not do: Play well on a team he never practiced with. TIC. But how do you play QB for a team you have never practiced with? Do they have identical play books?
