WCC Championships Tickets Going fast

I don't ever remember the T & M selling out tournament tickets before the tournament began. I realize the Orleans is smaller, but I didn't think it was that much smaller.

That's a long tournament. Feb. 29 - March 5.



I like that they aren't going to have the championship game on Sunday for us, but stretching it out 6 days seems a bit much to me. Understand the first day is likely a play-in game, but still.



And for those that are flying in to watch the tournament, what are we supposed to do all day on Sunday?

I have two tickets (not the higher-priced lower down ones) that I may not be able to use if my wife's upcoming surgery recovery prevents her from going. I will be happy to provide them to BYU fans at face value if you have trouble getting them now or later. I will not know if we are going until February 24.



I'll be the loud, but classy, grey - haired fat old man in the LMU section tonight joining you in yelling at the terrible WCC refs (you should have seen them at the LMU/USF game in S.F.).

At least we won't have to hear than indamnable "Rebel" yell and see Homecooked refs for the Rebs. I think I'd prefer these crappy WCC refs more.

What's the best way to get my tickets to a BYU fan if they want them?

Tickets never really went on sale, except through the schools. There is a huge difference between seating capacity at the Orleans (7,500) vs Thomas and Mack (almost 19,000).

Hope your wife's surgery goes well. If she doesn't end up making the trip let me know, I will use them or there are a lot of local BYU fans here that I bet would love to go. I think There will be a lot more demand than tickets to this tourney, so you'll have no problem.

LOL! Thanks, but no thanks. I have my own. I'm just not sure how much of it applies to sitting in a hotel room in Vegas.



If I end up going, I'll probably fly home Sat night and fly back Monday should BYU make it to the finals. If they don't make it, I'd sell the tickets and call it a trip. Flights to Vegas from here are like $40 which is cheaper than two nights of hotel, plus I get to enjoy my Sabbath in the comfort of my own home.

Sunday BBQ at my place? Are Utah Mormons allowed to BBQ on Sundays? ;)

The extra taste is worth the extra 10 calories. I could probably manage to have both kinds on hand.

You can re-warm the food on Sunday that you cooked on Saturday. Thems the rules. Oh, and no caffeine! Only one-palm's worth of meat per person.

We might have to stretch those rules a little. Or maybe segregate our party into separate areas for Mormons and Orthodox Mormons.
