Picked up the L.A. Times this morning; on the Sports page C4 is the L.A. Times High School football "First Team".

"Defense - First Team: LB Butch Pauu, Servite High School, 5-11, 220, senior - His toughness and instincts were second to none. He started 42 consecutive varsity games over 3 years and won two PAC-5 titles."

I'm excited to see Butch suit up with Kyle Van Noy & continue to build a dominating Linebacker corps. This guy is a STUD!

Why, oh why would we want to start a freshman over a more experienced players? Tree and Uona are not going to like this one bit. Oh, you meant in the 2013 season ;-)

Good question. I assume so at that ht and wt. I was kidding above. BUt yes, sounds like an amazing pickup. Hopefully Stout will be back and if he can deliver as "hyped" with the others, (Unga?).... maybe we are becoming LBU and RunningmanQBU. ;-) Nobody lose their panties, I'm just kidding, mostly. :-)

Post-missions, will be really fun to watch Austin Heder and Butch Pauu play ILB together at BYU. Dudes can lay the wood from the inside. Heder has better size and Pauu better speed. BYU is lining up the LB positions nicely. Bronco knows how to build and recruit for defense at BYU.
