GuestI've compiled the Running Back Efficiency Ratings for the Bowl game.
It's not pretty, as no part of the offense was pretty (except for 2 sweet plays, both of which were passing).
A note, I've tweaked the RBER formula to provide points for getting a 1st down. I think this is an important and necessary addition. Remember a score of approximately 100 means a back was effective, where as below that means ineffective and above that means greatly effective.
Bryan Kariya: 80.25 - Kariya's effectiveness comes from converting 1st downs, which he had 3 of in this game.
Josh Quezada - 65.89 - This was one of Quezada's best games this year. Still far below acceptable levels however.
JJ DiLuigi - 55.07 - An uncharacteristically ineffective game for JJ
We only had 26 running back carries, pretty evenly split between the 3 backs. Hard for anyone to get any momentum that way.
