Taysom Hill's Former Teammate Looked Good in Fiesta Bowl

Despite the loss, Andrew Luck looks like Joe Montana. Wonder if Taysom met him? Hopefully he did and Luck touched him. I haven't seen a college QB play it his level....ever. He's probably the 7th or 8th best QB in the NFL right now.

That was a great game - I was cheering for OSU, but I'm still sad for that kid who Brotzmanned the game away.



I think Luck will be successful in the NFL, but sometimes I wish that was beside the point. He had a great college career. It'll be interesting to see how Stanford does going forward.

Reloading Sucks - especially breaking in a new QB. Hopefully Stanford was smart enough to get the back-up some playing time and let him run the offense.

Luck seems pretty dang good. BUt seriously I can't believe how hyped to overhyped he is by the media. I saw him in his loss this past year (was it Oregon?) and I thought he was good but not great. He had several key mis-throws that I thought effected his game. Over his career, i get that he is a great college qb. But the best to come out in over 25 or 30 years--or whatever they are claiming? Then why didn't he win the Heisman? east coast bias? Oh wait a kid from lowly Baylor won it. I thought he look great last night against the what 100+ something defense in the country in OSU? Tulsa ran for 365 yards vs OSU this year. 365!! Byu allowed 37 vs Tulsa (stats courtesy of "CougarStats). Luck certainly was not responsible for the loss, but wow, he might be great, but the media this year have over-drooled and over-fawned.

I can't believe people are happy about Andrew Luck? Sure, he may have been a great QB and won a lot, but that is bad for the program! The only good thing Stanford can say about this year is at least they didn't win their bowl game, that would have been a disaster.

Since Taysom never enrolled at Stanford, and went straight to the mission field, doubt he ever met Luck. I want to thank Jim Harbaugh for that one as well. That saved his redshirt. He did us a favor.

I am glad Stanford lost and I sincerely hope they suck really really bad going forward. we probably recruit against them for top recruits more than anybody else at this point.

Yeah, I don't see it with Luck either. I heard the same thing about Sam Bradford when my Lambs drafted him. Um, yeah it's not all his fault but the dude is spineless and inaccurate.

You forgot the most important variable--whether or not he is divided by Ryan Leaf or not. Then again, I was always taught that you can't divide by zero, so maybe that isn't an issue. :D

Great comparison. Oh wait, they're the team that overachieves, and we're the team that consistently underachieves. Thanks for reminding us. Not to mention, we're every bit as relevant as Stanford has been over the past 5 years.
