Now it is time to start talking about next year's team.

On offense I think we lose

On defense I think we lose

Putnam, Fangupo DL

Frazier, Pendleton, Wagner LB

Uale, Eason DB



I think we gain

Pritchard, Hine RB

Olson, Hill QB

Houk WR

Matthews OL

A bunch of TEs from injury



Stout, Unga LB



Then we have some RMs and new recruits coming in. Not sure which redshirts will step up and not go on missions.

Has Ryker Matthews stated whether he is going on a mission or not?



I'm excited about the 2012 Cougars. Whether they will be a special team or not, I can't say, but by the start of season my expectations will probably be beaten once again to a blue froth and I'll be expecting a great season.

I didn't think Matthews was a mission kid.

We lose terrance brown at center, I noticed tushaus in the game today. Was that a power I formation? I hope he puts on some lbs, he's not real big.

I saw Tushaus too. There are a lot of people fighting to be on the OL next year.

The o line will have 3 starters back and from the way fall ball looked Matthews appears to be the heir apparent at LT, I still think we possibly see Reynolds move back to center and get a bigger guy at guard, not sure who but I think that is a real possibility.

Freeman started before his mission so he might be a new starter. The new starters are hard for me to call until Spring ball.



I didn't see Hadley play today at LB today. Outside LB is a question mark. Who will move into the DB slots? Sampson, Everett, Bills, Hague?

With the way Spencer hadley runs, I wouldn't be overly surprised to see him get so OLB play next year. However in the secondary I think we'll see Preston hadley, sampson, sorenson and bills/ Hague I'd like to see Bills get a redshirt year to get all the way back.from the mission.

Preston Hadley, J. Johnson - DBs

Sorenson, Samplson - Safety's

That's the line up I hope to see in the secondary next year. Hadley and Johnson will be legit in terms of both size and athleticism. I have appreciated Eason and even Logan, but I'm pumped to not have anyone an offense will plan to pick on, because of a lack of size.



Sampson better earn a starting job, but I also wonder what bills can do. We usually have a solid strong safety, but its been a while since I've been impressed with anything out of the free safety spot. Loosing Uale is addition by subtraction.

Alani Fua should be legit at the OLB spot, what's the story on Ho Ching? Is he off a mission.



Fangupo will be missed at DE but Kafusi will help us reload. I don't see a drop off at all in the D next year, only huge loss is Pendelton, and we never really had him much ton begin with.

We gain Dulin the SR on the DL. He redshirted this year and was a former starter.

LB: Kaveinga, Ogletree, KVN, Fua/Hadley

I think we see some new faces on the Oline and dine line. Kafusi is home from a mission for 2012, As are others. W will have depth on the lines we are not used to in three seasons.



Trying to remember who home from missions for winter. I suspect we will be deeper and improved in many areas. Not drinking the moo aid yet though, but am hopeful.

Does Russel Tialevea have any eligibility left? I know he was a senior when he left for his mission, but for some reason I thought he was given a medical redshirt.
