If Riley goes down tomorrow can BYU win?

I have confidence that Lark can get the job done.

Yes. Our defense has proven they can win games for us. If we have the lead, then I have no doubt we could win. If we have to come back from behind, then I get nervous but am still confident in Lark. He's as good as Heaps. :whistle:

I say its time for Lark to show us what fifthqb has been telling us about for years!

Yes, but my reasons are limited to blue-goggles optimism. :crazy:

I have no idea, I don't think I can remember a single Lark snap in a live game.

Gosh, I've been thinking about this all day and I've decided that from just the few throws we saw against Idaho that we may have a shot if nelson goes down. I don't think it would be disastrous, but it wouldn't be advantageous.

I have to agree with this. I don't know if Lark can provide the make-something-of-nothing spark that Riley does. However, I would expect solid play and yardage production from him = could win.

Between Lark and the 5 Stars, I'll take Lark. I would trust him to make reads and unload the ball with more alacrity, without pushing it into coverage so much.

I'd have felt a lot better about it had we used all of our available practices to get our back up quarter ready who has only thrown six passes all season...

I was going to say yes before the game, but now that the game is over I'm going to have to go with no. Riley is just able to WILL his way to a win and do ridiculous things to make it happen.

Yeah, we don't win that game with Riley hurt. Of course, if Lark could have come in and hit some of the myriad open receivers that Riley missed, then maybe.
