If he's related to Star, here's my prediction: He'll commit to BYU, won't qualify academically. Then he'll give up on football and go to Snow College. He won't play his first year, but will his second and then go to Utah where he will become a very good DL with pro prospects.

He has five offers - one from BYU. He attended practice last Friday (Mar. 9, 2012) and really enjoyed the atmosphere and comraderie. He has a number of former Bingham players on the team which helps him feel much more at home. Here's hoping we get this big boy.

Showing up on Saturday for Super Elite Day (generally for recruits already offered) to learn more about BYU and what the college has to offer. Apparently he was invited although he hadn't been offered a previous scholarship - but hoping to get offered tomorrow.

Do we have a shot at landing this kid?? I think we want him at DT but I don't think he's set up an official visit or has been to visit campus yet. He's at Utah today

Here's my prediction, he'll come to BYU and be great, and make us forget that we are all jealous that STAR ended up playing for the u.

Committed to Utah this morning per Bingham head coach Dave Peck. I can't believe he wasn't going to wait for his visit to BYU next weekend. Pretty freakin' LAME that we keep missing out on guys like this

BYU isn't a fit for all LDS players...Biegel (WI), Teo (ND), Hansen (U), Weichers (USU), etc. Sometimes it has to do with playing time, others it has to do with style of life, others academics, etc. Just because a player doesn't commit, doesn't mean we missed out. We get who wants to be here and is willing to accept all the requirements (HC, service, academic rigor, etc.). Utah had a strong inside track with his brother Star having played a significant role in their D.
