If he can't come back, are we resigned to letting Noah back Davies when he gets into foul trouble?

That looked nasty. Can't believe BYUtv gave the viewers so many views of that. OUCH.

BYUtv also needs to stay away from close-ups of Dave Rose after he's called a TO because his team is playing like crud. :)

I like it. Maybe Coach Bronco can catch the spirit. When players are doing dumb stuff coaches need to not spare the rod and thus spoil the child. Im just saying.

Agree. I think it's good Rose let's his players know when they're messing it up. In a post game interview Rose said one of reasons he was so mad was because they were making mistakes they had just practiced.

On a separate note, DM, you really like dropping those scriptural references, huh. Liken all things unto the scriptures. Seriously, are you a seminary teacher?

You mean you want him to start reading them the scriptures? (FYI: rod = symbol for word of God).

I think he meant Rose needed to carry a rod. literally.

I LOVED the intensity. Don't get me wrong. A good coach knows how to tear into his players once in a while. That didn't bother me at all, and I don't want Coach Rose to change a thing when it comes to coaching. BUT, when I can see him swearing, it's time for BYUtv to change their technique. I don't care that he swears, but BYUtv needs to recognize that when he's heated, some choice words may be used that you do not want associated with your cool new little sports network. I could see a lot of mothers calling in and complaining about something like that.

That's all I was trying to say.

Some of you guys are like liberal democrats trying to strip religion out of public discourse. I shall "smite you with a rod" and "spew [out of my] mouth" on you.

Oh well, I suppose this site gives preferential treatment to curse words over scriptural words.

And no I'm not a seminary teacher. I'm trying to channel my inner Tebow. ;-). jk.

Rose has some old school, OT, kick butt. I love that.

Bronco seems to be trying to channel his inner (NT) G.A. (I'd say Phil Jackson, but Phil was much better at handling personalities and prima donnas).

I think every ref and sometimes players (like Abouo got) deserve "the rod". Ok, just havin a little fun.

***And for any of you sickos who can't keep your beatie little brain from misinterpreting "the rod"---ya, I know some of you did, i Know a good treatment program for you--or a good Bhuddist Monestary.
