and you wonder about teams accepting Bowl Invites when it ends up costing the university thousands and thousands of dollars. For so many teams Bowl games is a losing affair.

and to think that they are about to become one of the dominant programs in the MWC...

The problem is airfare during Christmas season to Hawaii. It can easily go over 1k when not booked well in advance. Throw in 150 per night hotel and rental car and expensive restaurants and game tickets and it is tough to bring the whole gang.



When UH makes this bowl game - local attendance is higher. This year - two visiting teams will likely be a killer.
