Playing great tonight. 4 assists (tied for team lead) 15 points (leads team) and has a board. A good solid night in the preseason. And the games not over.

He does look a lot more timid than he did a year ago though.

19 points but he does not get the ball as much as he is use to.

21 points on 7 of 10, 4 assists, 3 boards, 1 steal as he sits out for a breather. High scorer right now for either team.

I think Rick Reilly is gonna owe a large chunk o' change here within the next couple weeks.

His defense was at best average. Ellis and Curry could move right past him. Granted Ellis can move past anyone, but Jimmer really needs to focus on his D.

And Jimmer went right by those guys as well.

The idea of defense is that you force the guy into committing to a move and then relying on help from others to box him and get the stop . One on one almost always goes to the offensive player. Most blocks are from another player coming off his guy to make the block. What I saw was Jimmer trying to force his guy to go one way and no defensive help. I blame the easy baskets on the other guys as well. But in todays NBA just about nobody plays defense.

Granted Cousins did not suit up for the game.

No Cousins or Hayes, so their starting PF and C were out, plus Salmons who will probably start at guard. I'd like to think that Cousins and Hayes would've made a fairly noticeable difference in team defense.
