Kansas Hires Charlies Weiss

Kansas is going back to a tried and true model--that of hiring really really enormous coaches....They hired a trim and fit Turner Gill, after letting ginormous Mangini go, and look what it got them. With Weiss on board, KS gets the humungous coach it needs....

Hopefully Weiss is more sensitive to the players' feelings than Mangino was. Schools like Kansas and Texas Tech are a joke and I have no idea why any coach would take a job at either one.

Kansas has a starting SO QB and three FR QBs on the roster. I think Weiss turned out two first/second round NFL draft QBs. Weiss would/could be a good mentor for Jake, but the roster situation, may not be conducive to a newcomer.

They get a great parking space & a meal card @ the training table. Ha-ha-ha-ha!! :lol:

Is it me or is this possibly one of the worst hire's we'll see this year? Dude failed at ND, KC did ok in his offense, but Florida's O was terrible this year under him. Maybe he'll get some good BBQ to help keep himself festively plump.

Well with decision makers like this, it's easy to see why the bigxii couldn't get the deal done with BYU.

Yes, this is the same school that fired their most successful coach because he yelled at players. They're not good decision makers at KU.
