I don't know if this was already posted, but I found this hilarious. All them Ute fans baggin on the pickle juice and it looks like we were right all along!

I don't care if the stuff clears acne, anemia, ant bites, arthritis, baldness or lengthens certain appendages. I'm not dinking the stuff. Yuk!

Does it taste good? I've tasted pickle juice and I can't imagine drinking it and not immediately revisiting the taste if you get what I mean.

Never tasted Tahitian Noni juice, but from what I hear it's pretty nasty. They bill it as an "acquired" taste.



Back in the day I was doing a radio spot on them, they gave me the grand tour. Told me how Bill Gates came and saw their company and how Bill Gates was jealous of their tiered marketing system. They then showed me slides of cancer tumors getting cured with drinking Tahitian Noni, course they couldn't say that publicly. At the end, they tried to sign me up.

I taught/baptized a guy on my mission that was one of their distributors. One of his best friends was a bishop in AF at the time and he had nothing but good interactions with Noni and LDS church members so that's why he listened. Not why he was converted (I sure wasn't either) but those involved in his chain were great examples of the gospel.

Every time we'd go visit he'd give us a shot of Noni to drink. It is pretty nasty at first but after awhile it's not as bad (still not good). Can't imagine pickle juice is much better especially because I hate pickles. They shouldn't call it pickle juice, they should call it Pioneerade.

I must have different taste buds, because I love to eat dill pickles, and drinking a little pickle juice wouldn't bother me in the least!

My son took the dill pickle jar a couple of weekends ago and downed about the whole remaining jar. He likes it. I can eat a pickle, but dang, I'd gag over drinking that juice.



They say that beer is an aquired taste. In my youth, luckily, I never "acquired" the taste and always hated it as I drank it with friends. Felt the same way about coffee and tea and so giving them up when I joined the LDS Church was no issue at all.



So when someone tells me that the Noni stuff has an acquired taste, bad tastes memories come to mind.

I'm the same way. I love to eat pickles. But then at Scout Camp, my leader said to get the last two pickles, I had to down some/all of the juice. Thinking he was being serious (when really, he was joking), I tried to drink some twice. I almost puked.
