Heaps to WSU?

To unite with ANAE!!!! The guy many claim didn't mesh well with Heaps and who was "clearly" in the Riley camp.



Ha ha, these rumors are getting ridiculous. I think it's obvious that most of it is simply to generate "hits". If I was a reporter, I'd steal cougarbib's idea and report why it would be ridiculou for Heaps to leave BYU.

This one would actually make some sense: that it's a nearby school, in Heaps' home state, and I think some of his HS teammates ended up there. New coach, lower standards for incoming transfers.



But Heaps would have to compete with Connor Halliday, who's going to have 3 years left of eligibilty after this year, and looked decent in the two games he played this year. If Heaps is transferring because of how a depth chart issue plays out, I don't see why he'd want to transfer into another QB controversy.

You need to check your sources, bib, cause a certain assistant to the AD at SDSU told me after sending an email to Heaps listing all the reasons why BYU sucks Heaps is taking his talents to So Cal. Apparently, Heaps also as ambitions of surfing.

He had considered transferring to Hawaii for that reason but when he saw that Hawaii has a USU transfer redshirting this year - he looked for a place where he had a better chance to start.

I think this is certainly Jake's plan. By doing this, he can tell everyone, "I am completely committed to and fully invested in the Cougar program and plan to finish out my university career as a Cougar." And of course when he transfers to WSU, he will not have lied. He's very tricky like that.
