CougarbibHe would be so much more successful playing behind that awesome OL that would always give him 4-7 seconds to get off the throw without any contact. At least some seem to think that. But then BYU defense, who many complain is too sackless this year, put so much heat on Jordan Wynn that he went out a series or two with injury to his non-throwing shoulder. And then a week later UW put him out for the season. And Hays has been running for his life ever since. I digress - with the perfect OL protection, Jake would flourish.
Utah will always provide expereinced and talented runners to take pressure off him whil he somehow throws for 500 yards anyway on very few attempts. Like thisyear. White, after all, had played a lot of rugby. And the Bingham high guy had tons of POTENTIAL - even though he had already proven he could not out run a cop.
And with Chow to develop him - with his track record. But wait - Chow was gong to turn Wynn into Detmer. Maybe he still will. Wynn gets a medical RS - gonna be there two years. Maybe Jake can SIT ON THE BENCH AND WATCH NORM MAKE WYNN INTO A HEISMAN WINNER and then RETIRE.
And if Wynn does go down - Jake should easily beat out the guys getting experience with the U offense now or the highly touted guy coming in. No worries in 2014 when Jake is a senior and finally gets his shot - just a little competition with a little experience.
And KWHITT, known for fashiion, will be happy with Heaps fine dress and reward him for looking good - certainly not expect him to take a hit or throw under pressure. Kyle just does not require that.
And if Kyle has to lose sveral games early investing in Jake's POTENTIAL, he will still have the 2nd half of the sesoon to try to reap the rewards of that investment. He wouldn't sit Heaps and invest in a younger player's POTENTIAL - would he?
And Utah players with experience in the system will respect and honor Jake's faded five stars and certainly not expect Jake to prove himself before they step aside and hand him the crown.
And having played at BYU and helped Utah gettwo wins over BYU - he will be revered by his teammates from day 1. And having learned politics from Riley - he can get them all to sabotage the new guys.
Besides - his pale white baby face would look so good in bright red.
Jake shoudld call a press conference and transfer Friday. I can't believe he hasn't done this already.
