The Native Hawaiian alphabet contains only 12 letters. Tragically, B and Y are not letters in the alphabet and this is why Hawaiian players have not been able to sign on to BYU.
The 13th symbol of the language is the âokinaâ which is an apostrophe that sophisticates use in spelling Hawaiâi. Word has it that Oahu stands for the null setâ¦.
Contrary to stereotypes, not all native Hawaiians wear grass skirts and do the hula dance. Men do not do the hula dance.
The word "Hawaii" comes from the native Hawaiian word "Owhyhee", which means "cheap desert land in Idahoââ¦look it upâ¦we even have an Owyhee County here in Idaho and it is desert and it is cheap.
Although Native Hawaiians never wear shoes this is NOT an invitation to play "this little piggy" went to market with them. Especially the 300+ pound Native Hawaiians.

Honolulu is the largest city in the world -- at least in area. According to Hawaii's constitution any island not named as belonging to a county belongs to Honolulu. This makes all islands within the Hawaiian Archipelago that stretch to Midway Island (1,500 miles northwest of Hawaii) part of Honolulu. Honolulu is about 1,500 miles long. If only theyâd open a motor vehicles sub-office on Midway, why the local residents would be so much happier.
