Riley Is Already Back At Practice

I wonder if the hospital bed is still strapped to his back.

Riley appears to be fully invested in the team and the morale rises up when he is on the field. Let's rise and shout for Riley is out (of the hospital).

Nice article (Nov. 17 - Daily Herald) by Jared Lloyd which describes the impact of Riley's return to practice on Wednesday. If anyone wonders why the team rallies around this remarkable leader - his tolerance of pain and desire to play and win will surely resolve any doubts. Looks like he won't be on the field until the AF bowl game but will still be an inspiration to the team while he is with them.

I'll tell you, this is great for the team. But in a few years Riley Nelson is going to make a terrible doctor. He's going to think everyone should jump out of the hospital bed after major injuries, just because he can!

Maybe he'll be smart about it.

Just to be clear, he isn't practicing. He isn't playing. He just showed up there.



His timetable is still the same, coming back for the bowl game (since Hawaii he can't travel for. Unless they want to send him across on a boat. What does that take, a couple days?)
