Gonzaga over Wash St.

Pepperdine over ASU

Loyola over UCLA

Our new conference is off to a pretty good start.

St. Mary's also beat Northern Iowa, a team that just recently made it to the sweet-16

You can already count BYU over Utah as well.

I would expect Gonzaga over WSU any day.

Pepperdine over ASU and Loyola over UCLA surprise me a bit. Course UCLA lost all its good players and ASU is still struggling. Perhaps :utard: could actually win a game or two in the Pac12 this season.

I was confused at first because I didn't recognize the conference name.

you mean PLAQUE-12.

It's been said elsewhere, but credit to Matt Carlino for recognizing a sinking ship when he saw one.

Nah Ute bball is going to hit an all time low this year and probably for the next several years. I think you can cross them off anybody's list of "good" teams for a long time. It would suck to be a Ute bball fan because it is going to be a while before they even hit .500.

Signed,

Adams State (Div 1aa)

and

Boise State (picked to finish dead last in MWC. That's right, the same conference that has Air Force, CSU, TCU, and Wyoming)

;)

That USU loss sure sucks. Hopefully we beat everyone else in state. Well hopefully we beat everyone else. It was fun when I got home in time to flip on BYU TV and catch the last 15 minutes to see Danny Ainge with the headphones on and Jimmer in the stands.

Right now it is not clear where the excitement will come from on this team this year - but hopefully we will build upon the spanking we laid on Longwood tonight. Several of our players including Abuo for sure were hitting some big shots and dominating the boards. Even some freshmen started to look good. That should continue in the next game. After that, we will get a good idea of what we have going on this year in the two games after that.

I think it's clear that Harrison is on a different level from the rest of the team. His speed and athleticism are mouthwatering, his shot is like silk, and he has played a total of 32 minutes at BYU. The upside his staggering and Rose is clearly bringing him along very nicely.

Can't wait for Haws to get back. We could be very very good next year: Davies, Harrison, Haws, Rogers, and Carlino [drool].

New thread title: Big Sky Owning Pac12!

Montana State beats Utah by 6 on the hill!

Some people wonder how high BYU's ceiling is this year, I just want to know if the ewets have a floor.

Crisco comes in as head coach (keep in mind he played for and coached at Montana) and loses to Montana State ... at home!

The karmic pooptowel has come home to roost!

Gonzaga beat Wash St 89-81. Pangos, Gonzaga's freshman point, had 33 points and 6 assists. He hit 9 3pt shots.

We are going to have to bring our A game against Gonzaga or we are going to get embarassed.
