Sandusky may have been pimping boys to donors?

If this is the case, it is the worst thing to ever happen in college sports!

Not to mention the fact that Penn State allegedly forced him to retire in exchange for silence, and then they sat back and watched him go to work for a high school football team and start a charitable foundation for young boys.



Does anyone doubt that this guy is a Catholic?

Forget about an NCAA football death penalty. The University itself might very well close for a time. . .

There is an odd tie to BYU with this accusation.



Former BYU director of planned giving (in charge of getting monies from big donors) was a guy named Bruce Covington. Raised a lot of money for BYU and hung with the high rolling donor crowd. Covington was fired at BYU and no reason was given for why. Covington was also released as a bishop at the same time. Later evidence showed that he was heavily involved in the gay community in provo and questions were raised regarding some interaction with young men in his former ward.



Fast forward a few years and he was working in a similar capacity (in charge of big money donors) at Penn St. This was during the height of the penn St. Issues. Not sure how long his tenure was there, but he was eventually released there and ended up at a private university when he was caught in a gay sex/drug ring (he was the drug dealer) and at the center of a major murder investigation.



Wouldn't surprise me if he turns out to be involved with the penn st. Fiasco.

If true then JoPa should get more media attention, and Sandusky should continue to get little media attention.

Yeah, I'm not going to jump on the pimping rumor (or the Covington rumor above) until more investigation is performed. They both seem like products of the "it was so bad ANYTHING could've been happening" atmosphere.



I like Catholics by virtue of being the only peers my wife (a PA native) had in high school who didn't consistently remind her she was going to hell. ;)

"A man is innocent until proven guilty." I'm refraining from accusations and criticism until solid, undeniable proof has been put forth.



I"m not entirely sure why everybody keeps pointing 13 and a half fingers at various guys at Penn St.
