Official: Mizzou to SEC

Exciting news on 2 fronts. Mizzou will get regularly owned, but at least they'll be playing some of the best teams every year.



Of course this also opens up a window that needs to be filled by next season. Any chance at all that BYU's negotiations will bear some fruit with this new situation? I know this isn't Rumorboard, but I'd really like to know if this has any chance of happening. All these potential games in Texas every year have me excited.



Anybody have some info?

I'm hoping that the BE wins in suing WV.



1-I hate RichRod, but WV forced him to contract, WV should be forced to contract too.

2-This screws up B12, I want them to take another wrong direction since they have so many wrong routes to select from.

Beginning to wonder if the SEC's master plan is to bring in UT & OU. It would be a solid geographic fit. And I've heard they'd be much more likely to accept The Longhorn Network.



UT's big concern was culture, whatever that means. With 3 former of their former conference mates the SEC should be a more attractive cultural fit.



On academics, Mizzou & aTm double their number of AAU members. LSU seems like a very likely invite to the AAU. That could bring them up to 5 AAU members. UT would give them 6, same as the ACC after they pick up Pitt. That supposed academic juggernaut known as the PAC-12 has 8 AAU schools.
