TCU TD #2- Stephenson muffs a catchable snap. Though the argument can be made that the up man deflected / or at least interfered with the visual of the snap. who to blame? If Riley picks it up and throws it, turnover on downs at the BYU 38. Instead 1st and goal at the BYU 7. The ensuing wildcat formation causes BYU D to allow running QB to waltz in untouched. 14-10 at the 14:48 mark of the 2nd qtr. and BYU is lining Sorenson up for a 45 yd field goal, and Friel forgets that he's on the kicking team. BYU burns a T.O. Coaches decide to go for it on 4th down w/ Matt Marshall throwing it? That's an easy 3 for Sorenson. Who to blame? Friel? I blame play call. Coaches take away 3 BYU points.
We get the ball back at the BYU 15 after D forces punt. Coaches call for a Homerun ball. Safety makes a pretty incredible play on the ball and a 1 handed int. Nelson threw it into double coverage. Who to blame? Nelson. INT's always credited to QB's.

Ensuing possesion from the BYU 10 we have to punt. The up man doesn't step out to deter the defender and he nearly gets a hand on it.
TCU TD #3 - 23 yd punt quickly turns into anothe wildcat formation from inside the 10, and the running QB goes untouched for his 2nd easy TD. Who to blame? Stephenson? I share blame with up man. Stephenson and up man give TCU 3 1/2 pts. each.
Ensuing BYU possesion at the 6:30 mark of the 2nd qtr. Hoffman sets us up with a 52 yd KO return. DiLuigi gives us a nice 25yd run up the middle. At the 6:10 mark we are inside the 10. Riley tries to do too much, Holt is interfered with and tips the pass in the air. TCU is at the right place at the right time. Fantastic play to keep the feet in for the INT. We would have had a sure 3 points there at least and probably 7. Who to blame? INT's always are pinned on the QB despite effort, interference. Nelson takes away 3 BYU points.

TCU TD #4 - :49 left in the half. Stephenson punts away from coverage. TCU picks it up on the bounce and returns it into BYU territory. 2 plays later Hadley lets Boyce through hoping for safety help / coverage, but TCU had an inside receiver streaking and Uale went with him. Boyce uncovered results in a TD. Who to blame? P. Hadley? Ogletree? Uale? Coaching / Formation? Tough to pin this one, I'll go with coaching / formation gives TCU 7 points.
Ensuing possesion Riley takes it 32 yds. with his feet in 8 seconds. then 9 1/2 yds with a pass to Mathews. 14 seconds left 52 yd field goal from here. Riley clocks it with 8 seconds left. Coaches are unsure what they want to do. Sorenson is rushed with the uncertainty, he slips and muffs the kick. Who to blame? I say coaching / indecision. Coaches take away 3 BYU points.

BYU offense takes possesion and drives in to TCU territory but has to punt. Stephenson can pin the Frogs inside the 10 but drops another snap and is tackled at the BYU 42.
TCU TD #5 - short field, methodical 2:00 minutes off the clock. Who to blame? Stephenson. Stephenson gives TCU 7 points.
Ensuing drive into TCU territory. Nice pass on 3rd and 10 to DiLuigi. Nice run by Nelson on 3rd and 6. 3rd and 10 pass to Apo fought for but broken up at the 5 yd line by DB. Good effort all around. 44 yd. FG by Sorenson.

BYU defense forces punt at the 2:20 mark. Falslev to the house!

BYU D forces 3 and out. BYU offense drives to TCU 17. Riley throws lateral. Holt can't dive on it. TCU recovers. That was at least 3 more from there and with momentum, probably 7. Who to blame? Nelson tries to do too much again. Nelson takes away 3 BYU points.
Ensuing drive. BYU forces 3rd & 5 at the TCU 32 10:42 left on the clock. Uale hit with a "Targeting" PF. Horrible call. TCU chews up clock. Eventually they kick a FG. Who to blame? Uale? Refs? Refs give TCU 3 points and almost 5 minutes.

Methodical drive by BYU. Extended on a 4th & 18 Pass Interference penalty. Kariya scores with 2:00. And Riley gets the 2 pt. conversion.
