What about the offense, defensive big plays, and couching errors? There is a whole lot more wrong with this team than they punting game...

I agree with you 100% - I guess the punting game sticks out to me because you think you would be able to snap the ball back to the punter and get a punt off. It's not like the two botched snaps came when TCU brought the house on punt block. One he dropped the other hit an upback. That's pretty feeble. So were the blown coverages on the two TD passes but that to me is a bit more excusable than the unforced punting errors.

It was a lateral - very poor judgment again by Riley. He doesn't not protect the ball and value possessions at all.

I hear ya. Anyway, just too many breakdowns and turnovers to beat TCU - or any good team for that matter. Just have to focus on closing out the regular season right. Can still get to 10 wins if we good a good draw in the bowl game. Disappointing to lose again against a good program. I hope we can clean up on the rest of the schedule.

I don't have cable or dish, just KSL, but it sounds like they are generally outplaying TCU. Just making too many mistakes. :blush:

I knew we were capable of beating them, but we are our own worst enemy. Special teams debacles, turnovers, and a missed field goal does not = a recipe for success.



We've even had fewer penalties than them.

I'd say the teams are evenly matched. You are right though - too many mistakes. Gave away too many point and field position. At least they battled until the end.

We beat the 12 point spread and we gave away too many gift scores to them. The only positive.
