Ya, I saw that. Do you really think this means that BYU is in? I don't. I think there's a small chance IF the Big 12 expands to 12 or 14. But only then. The Big 12 knows that BYU ain't going anywhere, so they can pick and choose the other teams that they want/need from the Big East before they are a lot harder to get, and then if they need BYU, we'll be sitting around waiting for them to call. Sucks to have no other good options.

No clue if BYU is in. Just odd that the offer got yanked. Only 2 reasons make sense though:

1)Missouri stays

2)BYU--original target #1--is in.

I'm hearing that its:



1. NO official offer - so nothing to "yank" - but that WVU thought they were in.

2. Several Big 12 schools prefer UL to WVU, which is why Big 12 is backpedaling.



So would you prefer Indy to fball only in Big 12? I'm still undecided. Of course, I'd prefer ALL sports in the Big 12, but if its between Indy and fball only to Big 12, I think I'd have to go fball only. That way, the door will hopefully open in the future for the other sports.



I wonder if there's anyway for fball and men's bball only to the Big 12...

I want BYU in a conference so I have a league to follow and other teams to keep up on besides BYU. I want set games each year in all sports for BYU to develop rivalries with. IT has been a weird season of BYU football.
