The pass to Thompson showed great blocking by the O-Line, maybe this shows a turning point.

At least we get the ball to start the 3rd quarter.

We dodged a bullet there on Chambers' knee getting in the way of him starting his return...

This sucks. If Chambers is back to return another punt I'm going to scream.

Guy tries to do too much and always complains about pass interference.

I thought our run defense was our strength...

Unga has been running it well, which is a big improvement over last year. This is a huge defensive possession now that TCU is pinned deep, if we can force them to 3 and out (which may be iffy) we can turn the tide I believe.

Well, we would have had the stop there if it weren't for the pass interference penalty. Logan didn't even need pump him. The ball was uncatchable. We're not playing smart. We keep digging ourselves a bigger hole.

Tonight's penalties have been the most untimely that I can remember.

That's the game right there. Very disappointing performance by the Cougs.

And Hall's feet have been happier than I can ever remember.



At least Stephensen is looking good tonight.

I am not playing the "Refs Suck" card, however I have noticed 2 penalties where they flagged the wrong number and the iffy personal foul calls against Hooks and Logan leave my persecution complex feeling greatly amplified. That being said, I can't shake the feeling that BYU needs to dig deep within and find their mojo or this will get much worse before it gets better as far as it comes to playing against TCU.

At least our punter is looking good...I mean at most our punter is looking good.

TCU is the better team, and it's clear. That being said, the ref's suck, and it is certainly making our bad situation worse.

This is not the refs fault, but they seem to have a double standard as far as late hits are going. BYU has nothing on TCU right now.



Game plan for TCU

1. Get early lead-CHECK

2. Pressure Hall-CHECK

3. Take a lot of time off the clock, even if you don't score and put pressure on Hall to mount a comeback-CHECK

You forgot to mention a lack of game planning by BYU.

No way we pull this game off. I say give Nelson some experience so he knows what it's like to play TCU and then he won't be caught by surprise next season.

with 12 minutes left I sure as heck hope we can score or else I'll be like the BYU 'fan' I thought I'd never become and start thinking that we can never win the 'big' game. It gives me the heebie jeebies even thinking that way but this game is slowly gnawing away at me. This game rates up there with the CSU and Boise State 58-13/50-12 games. Yuck.
