PAC12 officials

things are getting a little fishy

FWIW, KSL said it wasn't Pac refs.

It wasn't nearly as bad after some point in the 3rd quarter, but before then it certainly seemed like they were trying to prevent BYU from pulling away.

all of OSU penalties except 2 or 3 were in the 4th quarter.

I heard that too. Thought it was strange for a Pac-12 game. Geez, the Pac can't get TV or refs for their own games?

If I recall, the Pac12 had to change their rules about their own refs doing their home games because of all the home cooking that was going on. Other conferences said change or we wont schedule any games with you. But this is me going off of memory.

BYU just commits penalties, because we aren't disciplined mentally, and/or we get beat in the secondary. Have you seen anything from BYU to show you otherwise?



When was the last time we were inside of the 20 and our offensive line didn't false start, for example?

I definitely saw some mistakes but it didn't look to me like it really benefited one team over the other.

I don't think the officials were necessarily intentionally biased, I think they were just crappy officials.

Pass interference calls have been a problem for the last couple games, too. I don't mind them when they're touchdown-saving, like in the first half today, but I think our secondary needs to figure out about what they can and can't get away with.

Several tmes today. But it was a sloppy game.

holding on the running plays - at least twice. Those hurt.

It felt like the LaVell days with all the holding calls. The alisa td that was called back seemed suspect from the replay. I didn't see a hold. I had issues with the officiating, but we have way too many PI'S.

These PAC 12 Officials were actually Big 12 Officials according to news article I read.

Those of us at the game were pretty upset at the officiating. It's different with TV and you can see replays. OSU only has one screen at Reser Stadium and it was to our backs. They didn't show many replays.



I didn't see any holding on the Alissa TD run. 2 of the PI's seemed suspect to me. They could easily have been no calls.



The personal fouls on OSU were hard NOT to flag.

Both the PI calls were PI's, by definition. BYU just has no clue how to defend without a pass interference.

one at first glance looked like it wasn't and announcers said so, but when you looked at the replay, he held the guy 10 yards earlier, let go, and then blocked the pass cleanly. The PI was legit and because of the earlier grab.

that is what they do. they push the game and then at the end when it matter less even things out.
