Bowl Game

So I was thinking ahead to the bowl game as there are pretty cheap tickets to Dallas right now from Arizona but then I got to thinking what if BYU ends up 10-2 and the Big12 doesn't fulfill its quota of 7 teams because they get 2 BCS teams or something like that leaving one of their slots open. Would ESPN pull some strings to get us in the Pinstripe bowl against a Big least team like they did last year for Boise in Las Vegas? How set in stone is the bowl game in Dallas. I'm guessing we'll get either Houston or SMU if the bowl happens as planned in Dallas.

There is a fair chance that we get moved by ESPN in my opinion.

Given our luck this year - we get a rematch with UCF in the bowl as planned.

I only see this happening if we're ranked, which means I really only see this happening if we run the table. Even with ESPN's sway, this only happens (that I can think of) when a non-AQ team is a ranked, desirable opponent (BSU vs. TCU in Poinsettia Bowl, BSU vs. Utah in Vegas, that proposed "unbeaten" Humanitarian Bowl between BSU and Ball State).
