With Wynn having season ending surgery, the Utes will not go to a bowl game this year. They will finish with a losing record.

As fair weather as Ute fans are, this is going to mean a half empty stadium by seasons end. Pretty hard to do with their dinky venue.

I called it before the year. Wynn had no shot to stay healthy. He got rushed back. Utah should have redshifted him. Now he could be done for good.

Actually kind of unfortunate. THough our ties are all but broken, It makes a statement about mid-major teams. And I might remind the audience that we are not to far away from that same fate.

A couple of problems with this thread. They made the defensive coach the interim HC at AZ - not Anae. Anae isn't even the OC.



Also someone posted that Wynn is done. He actually qualifies for a red-shirt according to the CBS article I read.



But Utah is definitely not looking like a Rose Bowl contender. Wynn needs to get a haircut and bulk up in the off-season.

Wynn said he was growing his hair for "locks of love." If true, some things arent worth mocking. Maybe RIley was doing the same? ;-)

Maybe he is now, but Bob Stoops was the coach at the start of the season. Who knows who the coach will be at the Utah game. Besides, you're blowing my perfectly karmic 'bold' prediction.

I have a son doing the same thing, but long after the locks were long enough for the love, the locks are still long and the love is thus still short.



All kidding aside, it affects his career progression, and has not been a wise choice.



Likewise Wynn takes a lot of crap for his girlish looks. Maybe if he bulks up he will take less crap and avoid injury. But he has plenty to worry about and could probably simplify if he decided that whole admirable, LFL might not be a good fit for a starting QB.



But I like the guy and feel he has tons of heart.
