So, Utah should remain ahead of us in the rankings if they lose the rest of their games and we win the rest of ours? The rankings reflect every game played. I don't buy into the thinking that A beat B and B beat C, therefore A must be better than C. Even though each has played 5 other games, we should just ignore those.

So, BYU has 4 wins and 2 losses and Utah has 2 wins and 3 losses. It's not just the number of wins vs losses though. The sum of all games played is that BYU is currently having a better season than Utah.
