Air Force

The Denver Post is reporting that Airforce turned down an offer from the BigXII and looking to join the Big East. Their AD went on record stating the reasons why.



I would like to hear a statement from Holmoe on the subject.

I'd like to hear what the AF AD had to say.

BUt I imagine its something about not being the Big12's butt.

As for TH, if a decision has not been determined, why would he say jack? I hate that it takes so long as well. But some of you people know nothing about contracts, NDA's (non-disclosure agreement).

But maybe Af will be teaming up with Army and Navy in the Big Easy.

not sure that Tom Holmoe should be saying anything about the AF decision. I doubt he has any inside information to it.

smart move by air force why go to the big 12 to be its whipping dog...schools need to look at the bigger picture, they should not base everything on we will get more money...why make the jump to finish near the bottom every year....Utah may learn that lesson the hard way the next couple of years...

You mean the Missouri Valley Conference, where Air Force is rumored to place all their sports except football.

mvc is a solid basketball conf Air force would take a beating...

Thanks for correcting me. I should have been clearer--I was just speculating on what would be true whipping boy status...

All of Air Force's nonfootball sports are terrible. Conference affiliation doesn't matter.

Maybe they should go Mid-America conference.
