Killer instinct

BYU needs a killer instinct. I think that they felt really good about what they had done in the 1st half and then came out in the second half and that first drive was just easy for them all the way up until the interception. Then the defense gives up a 95 yard drive and it seemed like the entire team just let up. If they had carried the same urgency into the second half, BYU puts up another 20 points in the second half. We just CAN'T let up. Boise state doesn't let up, that is why they are so consistantly good.

That instinct was there until the pic in the 3rd quarter. After that it was clear there was a change in the approach. Doman elected to go with the "power running gmae" to prevent Riley from making more mistakes. But, our running game isn't good enough to take over like that against real opponents. And I fear Riley's gunslinger mentality will be too problematic as well.
