BYU and BSU to Big 12

My inside source just texted me this news - I need to see if this is real. It sure would be the right thing.

I texted and asked for the source - got no reply - I had already checked CBS and ESPN - nothing there. Improbable. Would be nice. This is why on the post asking what I would give up to get Big 12 - I offered up my son.

BTW heard Johnny Lingo is our new recruiting assistant for the Polys on the Island who have no interest whatsoever in coming to BYU (TIC).

Thanks for at least listing your source. :-)

Not to add to a rumor, but I heard this as well except it also includes AFA and is contingent on Mizzou leaving. The source is solid with inside team and player info, but not sure on this one. It gets big XII to 12 and adds a western flank, rather than eastern. Just passing on what I hear, not what I know.

I've heard that all offers of BYU to join the Big12 are completely off the table now, maybe to be revisited in 5 or 6 years, but nothing else is likely to happen.
