I have not kept close rack last year, but has Jake Heaps ever completed a 40 yard pass at BYU in his 14 or so games? If so, was it 40 yards at point of catch.
One of you stat research guys ought to post the 5 longest throws in 2010 and again in 2011 and let's see who threw them and just how ong our long game really is with Heaps or Nelson. I am guessing - not so much.
Heaps completed a 62 yard TD pass to Ashworth @ CSU last year. A lot of that was YAC, but the ball was in the air a good long ways too.
