Probably better if I say this as Riley haters - ie the anyone but Riley guys - would get flamed for bringing it up.



I love Riley so take this in that context and not as me seeing him as not being a team player.



Much has been said of him washing dishes or taking out the trash to try to contribute to this team. A working man kind of guy.



But did you see the look on his face of deep hurt and maybe despair after he got Jake down to the 1 saving a floundering drive and then got pulled so Jake could sneak it in. He looked and responded like what do I have to do to get on the field and help this team score.



I loved his post-game quotes.



Do you think you will start next week? I don't make personnel decisions.

How do you deal with the stress and excitement to keep from getting too tight in a situation like that last drive?



It actually is easy for me to amp it down. Let's face it, when I come in as the back-up QB, nobody expects me to do much of anything, so I just relax and try to make plays - roughly as I recall hearing it on KSL

Love the loose, nothing to lose attitude. Heaps is so high strung he's like a penny racer.

It's hard not to like his modisty. I also liked his sportsmanship toward USU. He and his teamates had just beaten them but he had compasion toward them. I sure would have liked to seen what he could have done against the Utes.
