Game Time Decision

If I were Bronco and Brandon - I would say all week that starting QB will be a game time decision to be decided by the players - well not necessarily that last part - just keep SJSU guessing whom to prepare for.

Looks like Doman is already calling for Nelson based on his post game comments. This article also makes it clear what you could tell from the team's reaction yesterday--the players really do prefer Nelson--no disrespect to Heaps, though.

That is pretty sad if BYU has to do that. Have we fallen that much as a football program?

Has nothing to do with falling. Teams that win do not telegraph personnel decisions or invite opponents to come watch practice. It is called the element of surprise. When you are three miracles short of being 0-5 you would think that would have sunk in by now. Maybe we have sunk enough to be humble, get over our team entitlement issues, and NC bluster, and 2 for 1 lunacy, and know that we may have to use everything ethical to our advantage to give us the best chance of winning every game.



We will probably knock the SJSU QB out of the game so I hope we prepare a little for their back-up QB too.

It does have everything about falling. In the past we didn't care if teams knew who our starting qb was and good teams today don't care if the other team knows either. If BYU has to resort to "keeping it a secret" then they are saying we don't have the confidence in our team we can beat you straight up.
