RBER for USU game

I've calculated the RBER for the Utah State game.



Our most effective RB was Bryan Kariya with a score of 67.14.

Next was Josh Quezada with a score of 60.5.

JJ DiLuigi was our least effective back with a score of 46.93.



Obviously the lost fumble is what hurt JJ the most. If he had been able to hold onto the ball, there is a chance he would have ended up with the highest score. This tends to be the tendency with JJ who typically runs for the most yards and certainly has the most receptions of the RBs, but gets caught giving up the football.



About RBER remember a 100 would be a very good game. So you can kind of think of it as a percentage scale.



Riley Nelson, scoring him as if he were a RB, ends up with a 60 in just a quarter and a half.

So, our qb is better than our running backs, unsurprisingly... Looks like we need to start sitting some guys down and giving other guys a shot.



I have been impressed with the few touches D. Foote has gotten, this year and last. Each time he has touched the ball it seems like he has gone for 20. I have heard he is getting closer to getting some reps, anyone know more about this?



Also, the Oline needs to stop getting blown up. H. Reynolds is clueless out there. His guy jumps up to swat the ball, and he is just standing there, not even looking at him.

Did you notice that same sucky OL take the team into scoring territory on 4 consecutive drives late in the game when a decent QB got the reins.



This is you - Blue - fire the coaches, bench the safeties, change the running backs, swap out the center and at least one more OL, and and and - when you just needed decent QB play.

STRAWMAN!



Riley found holes in the defense. That was all him. The line still sucked, and JJ still didn't hold on to the ball. Don't take great plays made by Riley away and give them to an undeserving Oline. They got beat once again, this time by USU.
