How bad did we miss Pendleton last night? Did his absence make a difference?

Probably not. This defense should be used to seeing him on the sidelines.

LAst year without Pendelton the defense excelled, not sure what that means but thought I would point it out again. He's great, but he's not THE defense.

Yeah, maybe a tad harsh. But accurate. The team and coaches should be used to not having JP out there. I think he makes the defense better, and it's too bad he doesn't have a body that can withstand the pounding he puts it through in the game of football.

True, at this point he's probably watched more than he has played. The defense has seemed a little more porous against the run. Hopefully he can get back and help out with that or someone steps up and starts plugging holes. It's odd to me that the run is what has really hurt BYU in their losses. I wouldn't have expected that when the season started.

That first play of the game does not go for a touchdown with our two best linebackers on the field. That would be Pendleton and Van Noy. Anyone know why the hell Van Noy hasn't started the last two games?

I wonder if Pendleton is in shape enough to go back to safety. He played there all in high school, and rode the pine his Fresh yr under Jamie "I'm a fathead moron" Hill before he switched positions, so that he wouldn't have to be coached by a moron...

Oh yeah, I wonder if he could take over FS? We need some serious help over there...

He is injured. He can't take over anything. He projected that he will be good to go Saturday. I hope so. Hope they put him wherever he is needed most. And yes - I would guess that he might be very good at safety if he has the speed. He should be on the field any time he is healthy enough to go. They tried him for 1st half vs Utah and he could not go.
