1. Miami 1990. Amazing game and atmosphere. Absolutely electric and incredibly loud.
2. Utah 1989. We beat them 70-31 and after the game Detmer said that we could have scored 100 pts. 49 pts at half. Most fun of any Utah game I have been to. I have a friend who is still mad at Lavell for not allowing them to score 100 pts.
3. UCLA 2008. Most electric atmosphere I have ever experienced. It was so crazy and loud when we blocked the FG in the first half.
4. Utah 2009. So much fun watching George run at us in the north endzone and me and my wife and the 80 year old next to me jumping up and down and hugging each other.
On a different note, a good story: During the first game of the 2008 season (before Pres. Uchtdorf's talk last fall 8) ) I was watching the updates of the Utah-Michigan game on my phone as the game wound down. Utah was up by 2 and Michigan was driving and I was giving updates.
We have gotten to be good friends with the people we sit by at the games and the guy in front of my said, "I struggle on who to cheer for. I know Utah winning is good for the conference but I don't know if I can cheer for them."
I said, "I can't and won't ever cheer for them no matter what."
He smiled and said, "You know you are right. I can't cheer for them either."
The 80 year old guy next to me, who I have become great friends with, said, "If Utah was playing Satan, I would cheer for Satan." He was totally serious. I sat down and laughed for about 5 minutes. :evil:
