2023 recruit to watch: A Cougar Corner exclusive

Cougar Nation, there is a young man who has caught my attention, and if I were a betting man I would say his recruitment is about to blow up.

His mom works with my wife, and I got permission to post his info here for a Cougar Corner exclusive. Enter Clarence Pututau, who is going into his senior year and just finished one of the BYU camps. He goes to Woods Cross High school, which isn't exactly a top feeder program, and has been recruited by Idaho State and SUU so far. But, he also just got an MVP award at BYU's football camp, so there's that. It was his first BYU camp also.

He is listed at 6ft 1" but standing next to him I think he is about 6ft 2.5". Dude is about 250 lbs and plays DE and OT so is starting both ways. Whether he gets a BYU offer or not going into his senior year, he'll be playing at the next level somewhere. Highlights link is below. This first one with a blindside sack made me go HEYYY!!!
