Re: Transfer portal talk
I don't think BYU was much of an option for him ever. He was not a fan of BYU when he was in High School according to player that played with him then. Also Washington had a transfer to Fresno St last year (had to set out 2020 due to transfer rules) and looks to be in the drivers seat to be Fresno St's #1 QB. The word is Jones and that QB were good friends at UW, so that was a large reason why he picked FSU (he could have went to most Pac 12 schools if he wanted).

Re: Transfer portal talk
USU has THIRTEEN players in the transfer portal right now.
That Zoom call with AD and university president set that team back almost an entire recruiting class.

Re: Transfer portal talk
Do you have a link for the transfer portal? I was wondering if that counted the one who have already committed to other schools (like OG Karter Shaw to Minnesota and OG Heneli Bloomfield to Oregon St). Utah St's OL has to be pretty thin with transfers like Karter Shaw (remember his older brother "Ty" was suspended for racist social media exchange from the team in July 2020, he had 9 starts in 2019). Both Karter Shaw and Heneli Bloomfield were freshmen starters at Utah St in 2019 and between them and Ty Shaw they made all of Utah St's starts at OG in 2019 (Karter 13, Ty 9, and Heneli 4).
