The Bronco "Trojan horse".

Get us to believe they will be minus individuals and suddenly, "it's a miracle", they are able to play vs BYU.

If BYU loses to Boise State, in the eyes of the nation what happened before or what happens after won't matter.

Re: BYU at Boise
This is a major league revenge game for Boise State. We ruined their undefeated season last year. They are going to come out loaded for Bear. BYU better do the same.

Re: BYU at Boise
I hear ya, but honestly, do you believe that Boise has more motivation than BYU? Yes, we disrupted what would have been probably an undefeated season for them and a NY6 bowl game, but BYU has NEVER won in Boise and has lost some very close games. There's no way Boise has any incentive advantage in this game Friday with the record being 3-7 in favor of BSU.
It will come down to turnovers and precision. BYU can't turn over the ball and they can't miss tackles. We need a game like at Navy, and they can do that if they focus.

BYU won't have a game like they did against NAVY. Navy is not BSU. I'd love to have the game put away comfortably by halftime, but that likely won't happen.EM_Puma wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 11:53 pmI hear ya, but honestly, do you believe that Boise has more motivation than BYU? Re: BYU at Boise
I was happy to see how upset Kalani was about the 2nd half of last weeks game. This to me shows the desire and motivation to win every quarter and half despite the large lead with the win never in doubt. I hope it will translate into a very prepared focus BYU team this week!
The college football world wants BYU to lose this game they want to brush BYU aside and not have to factor them into a NY6 bowl. (Sorry the playoffs will never happen)

Re: BYU at Boise
BSU's offense is legitimate. Even if the starting QB is still out the back up, Sears, is a former QB at USC and throws a pretty ball; there is no real drop off in talent in my estimation. The starting RB and their lead receiver are legitimate too and the OLine is solid as usual. I think our offense is quite good too, of course, but I think BSU would have run up similar scores against the teams BYU has played this year. BSU plastered USU (who look quite bad this year) and rolled AF. I think their defense is down some this year (they had to totally rebuild their DLine and lost their star safety to transfer) and it might come down to which of the two D's rises to the occasion more often. A plus for me is BYU will not be playing at a packed stadium with all the emotion and sound that stadium produces and usually makes it harder for the visiting team....I think this could be the year we beat the Broncos on their home field. We have been so close so many times.....

Re: BYU at Boise
I didn't see that.
I think BYU slammed the playbook shut before halftime. Wilson's TD to Rex came on BYU's third time in a row running the exact same play.
Yes, BYU could've/should've done more in the 2nd half, but the coaches hamstrung them a bit by shrinking the playbook dramatically.
