Best Head Coach Options

Post by jadesroom »

And I realize that Rose has gotten an extension, but I'll still ask:

How about this guy? He lost to BYU but what would he do with better players/facilities/etc.?

Anyone else?

Who knows how Peery would do, but it is getting more obvious with each game that it is time for someone else to have a turn. Rose has earned the right to go out on his terms, but it is looking like it needs to be sooner, rather than later.

Sounds like a viable option. It would help him to get a couple more years of experience as the HC at PSU.

Love Rose, but he just isn't the coach he used to be.

Hmm, someone has been saying for a few years now that Rose had hit a plateau and that his best years were behind him...

We're 9 - 8. We already have 8 losses on the season. At this rate, Rose may not get to 20 wins.

Time for a new coach. His contract should not have been extended.

The extension came as a surprise to many fans. Anyone watching the team for the past few years could tell we have been a declining program--those claiming Rose is a top 15 coach excepted. One has to wonder what Holmoe was thinking.

He gave Rose the extension so he could catch Stan Watts in career wins. But he's not going to get that before this current extension finishes. He's going to need another one.
