Tim Aalders for US Senate?

Post by byufan4ever »

What do you Utahans think of Tim Aalders?

https://timaalders.com/

I'm not a big Romney fan so I'm looking for alternatives of who to vote for. In the end it probably won't matter as Romney will probably win by 70% no matter who he is going up against.

But I've been seeing Aalders support pop up from a few Facebook friends. I don't like how he's aligning himself so closely to Trump and I think the battle for the title of "most conservative" is silly. I do like anyone who will "reduce the size, scope and influence of the federal government."

Thoughts?

Ha, but not a single reason why!

I'm not saying you're in this boat but it just really bothers me to see so many church members (can't call us Mormons any more! lol) blindly following and voting for Romney.

Definitely not in that boat, but I can say it really bothers me to see many church members voting differently than I have chosen to ;)

My thoughts?

Save your energy and pick fights where you can make a difference and at least move the needle. Get involved at the precinct level if you're frustrated by your choices in Utah.

I'm beyond tired with people complaining about their choices in November who aren't involved in March and April.

Yeah I've at least gone to a precinct meeting and voiced my opinion/vote there. There's also a lot of drama going on with my county commissioners and I've been voicing my opinion there too.

Sorry, it's tough to take anyone seriously who can't even bother to tighten their tie.

It's tough to take someone seriously who abbreviates the North Atlantic Treaty Organization as Nato instead of NATO.

It's tough to take someone seriously when they have a page title that ends in a preposition.

It should read, "12 Principles to which Washington Should Adhere."
