rpi now 21. Arizona will be in town Monday with a rpi of 38. Should be a good game and a chance to move up in the rankings.

We had lost 16 straight to SD. Beat them 12-2 last night. We are in first at 8-2.

Re: Baseball 2016
BYU currently projected as a #1 seed hosting a regional. We'll see if they can hold this position or improve on it, but for BYU to be noticed as a contender for a #1 seed and hosting a regional is a really big deal. Thanks Coach Littlewood. What a great job rebuilding the program.

Re: Baseball 2016
BYU loses today 13-7 thanks to 5 errors 3 of which were at first base. The loss was also due to coaching mistakes by Littlewood who waited at least an inning to long to pull the starting pitcher which resulted in 4 runs by SD and then pulled the second pitcher way to quickly which resulted in 4 more runs by SD. It seemed to me that BYU wasn't all that interested in winning this one as they already won the series, just like with the Arizona game which they never really took seriously enough, game that could have been a real notch in BYU belt.
The SD head coaches little temper tantrum was mystifying to me as the plate ump favored the SD pitchers all game long. In fact all series long, but BYU's batting was great as they had 10+ hits in all 3 games. Plus the outrageous number of runs they scored. If not for the mistakes by coach Littlewood in leaving his starting pitcher in to long and pulling the second pitcher too quickly from getting burn from letting the starter stay in to long I think BYU win the game despite their lack of interest in winning it.

Re: Baseball 2016
BYU baseball continues to make big news. My boss who knows I'm a huge BYU sports fan and has a son playing college baseball (so he follows it pretty closely) just stopped by to talk to me about BYU baseball and their no Sunday rule. He brought it up and it led to a little bit of a discussion about the Sabbath and what we do and don't do. Anyway, go BYU sports! Good missionary tool!
