Unimpressed

Well, I have seen four games this season so far and I have to say I'm unimpressed. For as talented as this team is supposed to be, we look sloppy and unenergetic.

Tonight against BSU, we had 6 turnovers in the first 5 min. It took close to 10 min to score a bucket.

I don't know what it is but the offense just isn't there.

Suffice to say, while I hope I am wrong, I don't see this team getting an at-large bid. Way too early in the season and it is after a loss, but I think we're going to have to win the WCC tourney to go dancing.

This team will need some time to come together and a star emerge.

They're really struggling to find an identity and find any offensive or defensive cohesion.

Where was George? Anyways, this team has talent but Pooe will get to earn his keep trying to forge an identity for the team.

I'm more impressed with Harward than Haarms. Kolby Lee doesn't seem the same, course he benefited last season from an offense that knew what they were doing.

Loner appears to be a solid rebounder, but other than that I am skeptical.

George was amazing against St. Johns. The other games he appeared to force shots with wide open players in the wings.

Lowell has been a disappointment. He's getting like 6 min a game.

I feel Averette could be a better player but i feel like all he does is try to drive to the basket.

Harding, imo, has also been a disappointment. He may be suffering from newlywed syndrome. We were excited about what he could do with more minutes after last season but he's averaging 25 min a game but just 7 pts. He averaged 22 min last season and 6 pts a game.

I am optimistic after the Utah game. Lohner is WCC freshman of the week. I don't remember Spencer Johnson but he is shooting very well. They are getting more from more players. I agree that Harward is doing very and has very good moves for 6' 11" 255.
