Can someone provide us with his height, weight, speed, etc? How are his receiving skills? Will he be a running back, a slot receiver, or what? Anyone?

From day one that he stepped onto BYU’s campus, Quezada felt at home and in the right place. “I love the players there. They were great with me, and especially the running backs that I met on my trips," said Quezada. “They weren’t looking me up thinking that I was going to take their spots or anything like that. They couldn’t have been more friendly. At Utah it was the other way around; the running backs weren’t that friendly at all and seemed a bit threatened by me. I didn’t like that, but I definitely got along well with BYU’s running backs that are currently there. They made me feel like I belonged and that they wanted me as a teammate.”

Interestingly, I think Quezada coming to BYU helps Heaps in the QB competition. BYU should have more depth at RB now. That should reduce the amount BYU will need running production from the QB position.

" Joshua Quezada, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound senior running back from La Habra High in Southern California, committed to the Cougars, picking BYU over Utah, Hawaii and Washington in a decision that stunned many longtime prep recruiting experts. Quezada will graduate early from his high school (Jan. 13) and begin taking classes at BYU on Jan. 15. He is expected to participate in spring camp along with two other highly touted high school prospects, quarterback Jake Heaps and receiver Ross Apo.

Many thought that Quezada, who is not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which sponsors BYU, would pick Utah because he has long, flowing hair -- which runs counter to BYU's grooming standards. But he told Brandon Gurney of Totalbluesports.com that the school's honor code "was a big plus" in his mind. "BYU has the sort of atmosphere I want in a school and in a football program," he said. "They hold my same standards that I have personally and that was a big thing for me."

...Quezada told Gurney that a big reason why he chose BYU was his relationship with BYU running backs coach Lance Reynolds. Quarterback Jake Heaps of Skyline High in Washington, who signed with BYU on Thursday, also played a role in Quezada's recruitment."

Not LDS, sounds similar to DiLuigi in that he's not a partier and wants to go to a school where values and character are more important than beer pong competitions.

He's listed at 5' 11" 210 lbs 4.55 forty time. Ran for over 1600 yards this season and averaged just over ten yards a carry and 20 touchdowns, 3.3 gpa, 335 lb bench, 445 lb squat, 36-inch vertical, and a partridge in a pear tree.

According to Scout.com and an article Jay Drew linked in his blog, Quezada rushed for 2,114 yards and 26 touchdowns this season.
