They won last year's bowl game against Pitt 3-0, and have won 5 bowl games in a row now. Including the 2003 Las Vegas Bowl, a 54-13 pasting of New Mexico.

Oregon State plays at Boise State next year.

It's an impressive resume. Road wins at ASU, Cal, and UNLV jump out at me. UNLV not so much for the quality of the win but the familiarity with the stadium.

Should be a great game. Go cougs.

They clearly got better as the year went along. Their D is good, not great, but they have a very balanced offense, with very good QB play and some great skill guys. Our D is in for a big challenge in this one. Max is going to have to play really good for us to win it.

If the way they played UNLV is any indication of how they always play in Las Vegas, I like our chances.

Reasonably, though, this is exactly the type of opponent we deserve; and very good top 15-20 team that will give us all we can handle. Let's just hope the BYU v Wyoming team shows up and not the BYU v FSU.

I had thought that Cal was ranked as well when Oregon State beat them.
