Who would you root for?

So you've probably read the rumor-mongering thread by now, and I think we can all agree that it probably wont happen (the elimination of all BYU athletics), but I was just thinking, who would I become a fan of, if it did happen.

So, vote for who you would cheer for, and why.

I guess I would become a fan of college football in much the same way I view the NFL. No team to cheer for, just watching out of love for the game and for great performances by individuals, defenses, offenses etc.

I'd continue rooting for Minnesota, my second alma mater, and I could see myself cheering for Air Force, since I do have family ties to the Air Force (not the academy, but the service in general).

I'd root for team Kim Jung Il; because the odds of him getting a NCAA division 1 sports program are about as good as BYU having the rug pulled out from under them.

I picked "other" because I would probably be like Declocoug and just cheer for the sport of College football. My gut tells me I would just root for whoever could screw the Bc$ up the most. Wait, that's who I root for now (coupled with my strongest rooting for our beloved Cougs of course).

Minnesota because I served my mission there and have become somewhat of a fan. Also UVU because that's where I went to school, although they don't have a football team.

I'd cheer for Air Force seeing as I am an AF reservist currently and then I chose "Other" as I would be like both declocoug and AmmonCougar and just enjoy the sport for what it is. I have any number of teams that I have enjoyed watching and have more than a passing interest in, but not enough to really become a "fan" such as Auburn, Indiana, Illinois, Washington State etc.

I'd spend even more energy hating and cheering against the Big Ten and against Utah.
