Re: NIT, Here We Come
Pepperdine is the only team to beat St. Mary's and they have now beaten BYU four time in a row. They haven't lost at home and just won two games on the road. There is parity in this league and every team is capable of beating anyone on a given night. BYU has 7 home games coming up and a chance to ge...

Re: So is this loss on Emery and Davis?
Specifically it was the last three minutes that were frustrating. The game was back and forth trading baskets and the lead most of the time. Towards the end of the game, Murray's 3 pointer was the play that pushed them ahead and gave them momentum. Critical turnovers by KC and some of his missed poi...

Re: Tom Holmoe Repeating Past Mistakes
TH having anything to do with KN declining the job is hogwash. Perhaps his O history didn't meld well with BYU's current QB situation, or recruiting background or salary/etc. offered. Let the situation play out before throwing jabs and barbs like mistakes have been made. We will know when we know.

Re: Ken N. staying at Navy
Sitake is the likely pick. However, if there is no selection until after RPLV bowl game, KW is likely the candidate.

Re: The Unanswered Question
Sitake has stated his interest as HC or in some capacity less than HC (i.e. DC). Regarding Poly statement, not intended as a racist comment at all. Presently, there is one Poly on staff (Kafusi). I believe TH would like to continue to successfully recruit through this pipeline as it feeds OL, DL and...

The Unanswered Question
During the press conference where Bronco announced his resignation with TH at his side, he mentioned that TH had inquired as to whom he recommended to replace him as coach. I never heard via twitter if TH gave consideration to his suggestion. If it was any of the coaches that left the program to fol...

Re: Troy Warner Commits to BYU
Warner is doing what any smart recruit would do - evaluate options in case the new BYU coaching team isn't appealing. That is why it is very important for TH to be very thoughtful in selecting the HC and his assistants as the repercussions will be very impactful - for better or for worse.

Re: Anae, Tujague, Atuaia, Beck all leaving for Virginia
I believe that TH is looking for a clean slate with fresh faces. Anae's comments are very telling in that he had informed the BYU team of his decision to join Mendenhall at UVA earlier in the day on Wednesday. He implied that BYU had expressed no interest in having him stay on with the program, sayi...

Re: UVA hired Bronco Mendenhall!!
As most realize, the head coach must be a current temple recommend holder...narrows field down to a fairly small circle - all of whom Tom Holmoe knows quite well. As Tanner indicated about coaching characteritics, the ideal coaching candidate is one who has character, hard work, determination and un...
