Yoeli: Best BYU player never to play in an NCAA game.

Am I wrong? Who are some others in the last 40 years? Justin Weidaur...but his career wasn't nearly so good as Yoeli's.

The twitter favorites in order (and as Coach Rose alluded to, each would have a better resume when first hired than any BYU head basketball coach other than Ladell Anderson): Pope Madsen Peery (my personal favorite) Jensen (maybe the biggest fan favorite but probably the one least interested in BYU)...

Why did Holmoe turn down the opportunity to play in the CBI? Are we too proud for that? It costs money that we may not recoup. Beyond that, the administration may sense a loss of fan interest. Way beyond that, perhaps Rose and the team have lost interest in the season and are glad to see it die.

For an undergraduate does either matter, or is BYU-I just as good?

I actually respect Worthington and Cannon for what they bring, who they are, and how they play. They have represented BYU well. But the talent gap is obvious. Rose can't keep enough talent at BYU. Nor does he develop the talent he has. Rose is like a JC coach--not surprising, given his background--...

Look at the bright side: Dave Rose was supposedly given an extension so that he could break Stan Watts record for number of wins. He presently has 348 wins to Stan Watts 371 (excluding NCAA vacancies). So bring in some softies (more than normal) and Rose should be gone in 3 years or so.
