Re: Houston DC Gibbs > Anae

In watching the game again on BYUTV last night, I changed my mind. Houston was pretty darn good, a very fast team, an impressive freshman QB, some great receivers. Their Dline just owned our Oline, they blew by our offensive linemen like they were statues in a was museum. Granted, we have some young...

Re: Houston Prediction Thread

There is a reason Houston is 5-0 and has gotten no votes in any of the polls; they have played nothing but the worst teams in D-1...and struggled to beat some of them. This will not be a contest. Hill will have his first 300 yard passing game, and a 100 yards rushing. Williams will have over 100 rus...

Re: Adam Hine

I was extremely disappointed in Falslev last week. The ridiculous announcers kept blaming the fact the kicker was a left footed kicker--PALEEZE! That left footed kicker would run to his left and kick on the run, every ball went to the far left side of the field and Falslev never adjusted. I was also...

Re: Taysom Hill PER - Biggest Irony

Georgia Tech is playing Virginia Tech right now. Logan Thomas, QB for VT, is 9 for 9 passing through a quarter and a half. Will Hill ever go 9 for 9? even against MTSU? If he is 13 for 48 against MTSU, he should lose his scholarship and be subject to honor code violations (deceptive advertising hims...

Re: Hadley's Suspension Still "Indefinitely"

Stop obsessing over the trib, Hadley should be gone. He has embarrassed the team, the coaches, the school and the church. A returned missionary going to LV, partying, taking pictures with near naked women, drinking...are you kidding me. I assure you he did even more than that, only a good bishop wil...

Re: Ammon Olsen

Hill has played a lot of football, but can only complete 35% of his passes? the 4th string QB at just about any school in the country could do that well. I gave Hill a pass at Virginia, a driving rainstorm, lots of dropped passes. But then came Texas, the run game was out of this world, which should...

Re: Jay Drew's hit job on BYU and Spencer Hadley

I don't read the trib, or Drew, and don't care what they way. However, I believe Hadley should be off the team and kicked out of school. He didn't just go to LV once, he went multiple times, he didn't just go to a casino, he drank alcohol. Hadley is a returned missionary for crying out loud, he shou...

Re: Hine TD return. Good call. Watched again, and have evid

Ty Detmer, John Beck, Max Hall--all would have won that game had they been the QB. I am just appalled at Hill's passing. I gave him a pass in the Virginia game, a driving rain storm, but then it was the same thing against Texas--except Texas couldn't defend the run. Then I was sure after two weeks o...

Re: Ogletree's evaluation of BYU vs Texas

From game one to game two, BYU fixed it's running game, fixed it's Oline game, and fixed it's special teams play. From game two to game three (Utah), BYU will fix it's passing game. I'm predicting Hill will throw for at least 250 yards, run for well over 100 yards, and BYU will win by the widest mar...
